Default running lights work but as soon as high beams get turned on things go wacko

On my 98' blazer 4 dr 4.3liter v6 the running lights will stay on but as soon as i flick the high beams on only one works then my head lights dont seem to work right as if it something bew, its hard to describe because something happens in a different order everytime i do something. is this the head light switch or a ground. i had the fuel lines replaced and walked in on the mechanic with the fuse box open is this normal or is he messing with it?

now my running lights work and my high beam switch will allow me to flip the high beams on when regular lights are on but the left high beam does not work even with a new bulb and fuse, it just seems crazy because the the running light and high beam are same bulb??????

Did you ever get a solution to this problem. I have the same issue and it is time for an inspection.

You brought this back from the dead. The post was made in 2012. That member has not been active since 2012 as well. Your best bet is to start a new thread.
