Unhappy Something electrical has me stumped...

Hey there! I have a 95 Chev blazer full size with a 350 TBI. Recently I did a motor swap and it was running great, up until a couple weeks ago. I went to take it out for a drive and my battery was dead, so I put it on the charge. It didnt take a charge so I figured it was a crap battery. I went through 2 AC delco batteries doing the same thing so I figured my alternator was shot. So I replaced my old one with a new Bosch alternator and I'm still having the same issues, the battery keeps dying and the alternator won't charge or keep a charge it seems. Hopefully someone out there has had the same problem and can help me out! Any input would be great.

Cheers, Taylor!

It a long shot but pull the cigarette lighter out of the socket and make sure the element hasnt fallen off and is shorting out and staying on all the time

I have seen some stupid electrical issues track back to the cigarette lighter

I would also like to know the voltage numbers , off , on and cranking

BTW if the battery was not fully charged when you installed the alternator its possible you cooked the alternator

The lighter socket seems to be ok. I'm at such a loss because there is so many possibilities.
