Don't know if I need to shim my starter or what but sometimes my 1998 blazer won't start I hear the solenoid kicking out but the motor won't turn over it will sometimes start but about 50% of the time it will just click

 

so 50% of the time it just clicks? sounds like your starter is going bad.

 

The click of the solenoid coming out we had to starter tested and its ok just sometimes the solenoid comes out but the won't turn motor over
