Ok I tested the purple wire and its getting 0 volts. I dont have any help right now but I tested it with the key in the 'start' position. Do I need someone to push in the clutch or turn the key while I test it?

 

You must do everything as if you are attempting to start the truck to get voltage to that wire.

Have you made sure that the 'IGN C' and 'CRANK' fuses are good? Have you tried swapping the starter relay with another relay like it in the underhood fuse/relay center?

Beyond that, you can test for +12V at the CRANK fuse when you have turned the key to the start position.

Take a look at this:

 

Ok so the CRANK fuse has no voltage with the key on the start position. So either the ignition switch is bad or some conection between the switch and the fuse box correct?

 

You can test continuity from the CRANK fuse to the yellow wire, terminal D1, at the ignition switch harness. You can also test the smaller red wire in the ignition switch harness, terminal D5, for power from the IGN C fuse. If both check out ok, then the ignition switch contact is failing.
