I wanted to do this ... But I had no room under my tailgate .... so I went with this .

Its more semi like too and im glad i went this route.

 

I think the one I have on my blazer is a 49" It looks fine with it centered. I bought a Recon brand Line of fire LED bar. It was alot more expensive. But it's as bright as my factory tails. My buddy bought the cheapest ones and they got water and dust in the tube and then started shorting bulbs out in less then a year. Mine is completely sealed and I've had it going on 2 years now. And my plastic is starting to yellow some (alittle aluminum polish will clean it right up.) As for if I ever lowered my spare tire down, I was going to mount the LED strip up on my luggage rack. And I don't have pics.
