two separate issues (fuel gauge and 4wd)
1st My fuel gauge has not worked since I bought my truck. It is a 98 lt. I have replaced the instrument cluster and the fuel pump. I am getting a resistance when I check the sending unit's wiring at the pump, but my gauge is stuck on empty and does not respond to adding fuel.
2nd When the sensor for the 4wd at the differential is plugged in I am fine in 2wd, but if I try to go into 4 hi, my fuse 15 blows and the truck seems to be in 4 low. I unplugged the sensor and it ends the problem of blowing the fuse. Is the sensor bad, and is it even necessary?
