Parking brake
does it stay on?
I would check to see if your fluid is low, and if you're parking brake is disengaged all the way.

Lift up on the parking brake lever and see if the light goes out.

Yes that's the light for the parking brake.

If it's still lit up even without the parking brake engaged, check the connection for the switch at the top of the brake lever assembly. If I remember right, the switch is made up of a contact bent towards the pedal, when you press the brake, the pedal touches the contact and completes the connection.

It could be that the contact is bent forward and the connection is still completed when the pedal is up
