Default Wiring schematic

I have a 2000 blazer LT w/ 4.3l. And I have a draw on the batt. I don’t have a schematic or I would start pulling fuses to narrow down my options. It has been sitting for a while. Batt. is shot. What is odd is the rear gate does open every time I try to start it. With a wiring schematic I could work my way through it. Every schematic I find on-line doesn’t have the rear gate switch, I think I may need. I’m getting a big ol light show (sparks) when I reconnect the negative. I’d like to take care of this “draw” before I put new cables and battery in. So anyone experienced this or has a complete wiring schematic that would REALLY me out. Tyvm!

At what point does the rear gate spontaneously open? Key on, move to start position, etc? Where do you get sparks? What is you parasitic draw with everything closed up and locked after a 15 wait?
