Default 2004 Chevy Colorado Alternator Issues

I have a buddy with an 04 Colorado. Hes put a new battery, alternator and alternator cable on. Checked all the grounds and the thing still wont charge the battery. Ideas? Any helps apprciated.

It's possible to get a bad new alternator. Take it off and have it checked by the store you bought it from.
was it new or rebuilt?

Yeah they bench tested it before he took it home so we know its good.

check fuses, usually theres a mega fuse that controls the alt

If that doesn't help I guess it's time to triple or quadruple check the wiring.

I'm trying to think of anything else that could be an issue...

thats the problem he cant find it (I havent been working on the truck) any ideas where its at? He says its not in the main fuse block under the hood. But here agian I havent worked on it so I cant say Im just trying to help him out.
