Default Anybody else ride dirt bikes?

Ive rode motocross since I was a kid. Even though I havent rode in almost 8 years. My son still does. He races in the 85 class. If I could post pics in this forum I would show you his style. But im wondering if any of you guys ride, if so what kind of bike do you have, and where do you ride?

Ive been riding a little over 10 years but havent gotten on my bike in the past few months because I have been so busy.

I ride a 2004 kx250 two stroke but have owned lots of bikes over the years. I like the feel of a 250 2stroke, so its my ride of choice. Ride some trails some track, but only raced a couple of times.

Im the same way. Ive owned every bike size starting with kx60 all the way to a 450. And I also seemed to have more fun riding the 250 2 strokes. If your corner speed is good then you will love them. If your not good in corners then 4 strokes are prolly better for you I say. Im friends with an ex pro rider named shea bentley, and he once told me around 03 when 4 strokes were making a strong stride in racing that "you can take an average rider, put him on a 4 stroke, and he will look decent. But put the same guy on a 2 stroke, and you will see just how bad he really is". I always say if your not making money racing or getting paid to race for a team, then your bettter off with a 2 smoke.

I have a 2000 honda cr250 two-stroke, I ride in the dunes with it, go trail riding, and ride tracks, I'll have to put a couple of pics on later.

Man that looks like a blast. Those trails are pretty tight and dont look very forgiving. I grew up riding quads and always loved doing it. I used to have an 03 suzuki Z400 hopped up a bit, road anything from sand to trails. Would love to pick up a dual sport bike, where I live I could ride it to work or in trails if I wanted.

I had a YZ80 growing up and more recently a hot rodded KLX300 i used to run through the local woods. swapped in a 33mm mikuni pumper carb, big gun pipe, free mods and some suspension goodies. Pretty fun bike.

Its been years since ive done any serious dirt riding, but i now have a little KLX pit bike i use to run around the yard on lol.

I've been riding my whole entire life! Since day one I have been on a dirt bike. Raced motocross for the past 6 years. Currently on a 2014 CRF250
