I've had a bunch of good songs through the years. American Woman, Radar Love, La Grange and so on. Lately, I've been putting some Trans-Siberian Orchestra on for window down, crank up and go music. Carmina Burana, Night Enchanted, Siberian Sleigh Ride, The Mountain, and probably the one that will blow the most speakers if turned too high is Toccata-Carpimus Noctem.

Before you think I'm an Olde Pharte trying to push classical music on you, listen to them a bit. Yes, a lot of their music is Christmas music. I used to work security years ago when I had a badge. Metallica had nothing on these folks. I went to one of their concerts and was wishing I'd had some sunglasses with me, as well as ear plugs.

Funny how a persons taste in songs helps put together an image of someone.

Nickelback, Burn it to the Ground. I found myself going a little fast on a gravel road today when it came on.
On a side note, the new suspension does very well at 75mph on gravel.

There are SO many... I know you asked for one song, but I'll go you one better.. best driving ALBUM. ZZ Top's Eliminator. I bet I've driven 250k miles with that album blasting.

I kinda like Sheryl Crow's "Steve McQueen" for driving.

Depends on the mood, time of day, driving atmosphere, etc, really.... too many variables. That said, my driving music varies from Brantley Gilbert, to Nitzer Ebb, to Skynard, to Johnny Cash, to Matthew Good Band, to Sloan, to the Stones, to the Tragically Hip, to the Tea Party, to Willie Nelson, to the Cult, 80's retro, the Housemartins, older Cure, the Smiths, ........a never ending list, really......

i know this thread is sorta dead now but i recently stumbled across an old favorite of mine, shipping it up to boston by dropkick murphys, such an upbeat song and no matter where your driving you feel like your ready to go kick some ***
