We got hit (lightly, by the tailing end of the storm) and it's pretty bad here. The roadways were covered in a solid sheet of ice yesterday and while some of the main roads have slightly melted, the secondary roadways are still pretty bad.

No one has snow chains or studded tires, no plows, not nearly enough roadcrews to clean stuff up. Of course, with the superbowl here in town in a few days, all the extra resources are going towards cleaning up the area right around the stadium.

Now they're having rolling blackouts trying to conserve energy

well heres what i got... i also got some short video clips here and there ill post after i edit it all together

the back driveway

jeep by my work didnt quite make it

at the gas station

couple buried and stuck cars

and after i got bored of driving around and started shoveling snow i seen a plow truck stuck in a snow drift down the street, i was hung up in it earlier (i dont know why i didnt take any pics) so figured id give him a pull

i got goodyear silent armor tires and those things have been incredible in the snow. i plowed into that drift going about 15 and dead stopped and i was able to pull myself out of there. even on the plowed snow i could floor it and the truck usually hooks right up

Nice, wish i got a big dump of snow like that here. I got the same tires, only time i ever get stuck with them is when i get hung up, where wheels will spin on idle! haha

some more pics. this time i actually brought along a real camera not a old blackberry

this is actually a road. someone plowed out the alley leaving a 3 foot snow bank in the middle of the road.... it was tempting. maybe if i had another truck with me id have hit it

i finally got stuck in my driveway. after years of trying. this is the downfall of big axles. but i was able to back out and just ram through it
