Default Bought a 2017 Mazda 3 and I love it!

Formerly known as "Zs_V8Jimmy" after having my truck forced to be towed off my property, I lost interest in the project and started focusing on life. I started looking around for a more dependable daily that was better on gas mileage. I ended up with a 2017 Mazda 3 after a few weeks of shopping around. Since purchasing my MZ3, I've been spending a lot less money on gas and getting 35mpg! Can't say I'm too upset with that.

Plus the interior is beautiful. Got it for $18k out the door with only 60 miles on it.

That was my backup account while I had to get my password reset on this account, but no I'll still be here! I have a 1996 GMC Jimmy to play with now and still a 1994 GMC Jimmy stored away that I could make a dedicated mud toy out of if the mood ever hits me right so I don't plan on going anywhere. Lol

I had an 09 Mazda 3 brand new. Awesome car! Great gas mileage and honestly for the money you get a really nice interior filled with features that you expect on more expensive cars. For example, my personal favourite was the automatic wipers that would sense rain drops and turn on automatically and depending on the intensity of the rain it would speed up. No other subcompact car had that for that price. Amazing.

I eventually gave it up and went back to the S Series because I found a wicked Xtreme and then found a blazer both practically new. I must say I get much more attention on the trucks because of rarity of the beast.

But I do miss that fuel economy. lol

I got so frustrated with a P0302 on my 1999 Blazer I bought a 2015 Mazda 3 a couple of years ago. I still have the Blazer and still have the P0302 but still like the 3 too. The 3 gets double the gas mileage, has great handling, and lots of new tech. I got the little 2.0 liter engine in the 3 but it will out perform the Blazer in speed too.

I plan on putting some work in on my 96 soon. It's a 2wd but since I already have my daily, I'm thinking about doing a 2wd lift on mine because I have some realllllly rough roads around here that my 3 just really doesn't like.

The Mazda3 is a nice car. I work at a Mazda dealership and we sell a lot of them. I drive a Mazda6 b/c I needed the room for a car seat.
