Default A/C Problems...

Hey guys,
I seem to have the same issue with both of my vehicles (2005 G35X and a 2001 Jeep Cherokee Sport) the issue is the AC systems are both charged but the compressors kick in randomly. It seems like they will only work when the systems are just started then kick off. I changed out the thermostat on the G but have not touchd the jeep as the jeep AC was working just last week. Let me know if you have any ideas on what my issue could be I am open to it all as its been hot as hell here and it's not getting cooler anytime soon.

Thank you,

well i know that if there isnt enough coolant in the system the compresor has a safety that wont alow it to ingage maybe your coolant is just below being full i would try adding a little to it and see what happens

Too much refrigerant will do pretty much the same thing. You may try putting a guage on it to see where it is when it's running.
