I am trying to ship my truck back home before I get stationed in Japan. Anyone have any good ideas where to start? Im in San Diego, CA and I am trying to ship the truck to Michigan.

 

Have a friend drive it. Then take a plane back. I think it would be cheaper!

 

its quite a bit to ship a car, I did it on ebay once for selling a car, I cant remember which company I used, I will search around for you.

 

I would drive it back if it wasn't going to cost about $1100 to do so. Gas mileage + hotels for three-four nights is kind of expensive.

I've been using google a little bit. Budget Vehicle Shipping is one online? I just don't want to pick a bad shipper you know....

 

Get the shipping wars people to bid on it. Www.uship.com i think...

Really? That actually seems kinda uninsurable. He's probably better off using an actual car shipper like Montway or at least getting some quotes from a site like uShip before deciding. Right?
