Cooling system problem
Help with cooling system on a Plymouth Voyager please.
Warm engine and both lines to the heater core removed. Flow to inlet side of heater core is poor to say the least.
Hot engine and line connected back, engine temp too hot. No heat...
I removed the thermostat but it was open when I removed. There is pressure on the upper hose with the thermostat out and still poor flow to the heater core lines. Too Hot Question is why poor circulation? Do I need to flush out the radiator?

Make sure the hose yuor talking about isnt collapsed inside!! try and take the hose off run a garden hose thru it with high pressure and see how much water comes out..if it doesnt come out strong enuff that hose maybe no good insiode the rubber breaks down inside of the hose..Try that and see what happens.
When I remove the hose from the top of the engine that leads to the heater core the flow of coolant and water is low. I would think this metal outlet to the hose should be gushing out coolant. I have pressure on the thermostat side with no thermostat but no flow on the outlet to the heater core.
