my first car was a 1989 bonneville, she only had 75000 miles and now my little brother drives her. that 3800 will run a million miles if you change the oil. last november i upgraded to my 1999 blazer with 40000 miles on it

My First was a 86 Olds Calais 3.0L V6(Blown but known for bad motors) replaced that one and beat on it for a couple months till that motor went then scraped it. Bought an 89 Chev Berretta Soon after had to replace that motor(with a crate one). When it was time to sell the guy was looking for a vehicle that would last his daughter about two years, I said the motor and everything else will but not so sure on the Tranny(was starting to slip and he knew that) said it was no problem. Bout a month later while driving down the road therewasa lot of people going around anothercar right in themiddle of a majorintersection. Turns out it was myold car and the daughter was standing there so I stopped and asked what was wrong and that it was previously mine maybe i could help. She said it was running fine then just as she started to pull into the intersection that it started slowing down really slow then just stopped. She seized the tranny solid right in the middle of thestreet. Turns out her father never told her about it. I had to laugh when I left. They must have replaced the tranny cause every so often I see it on the road(although I don't know who is driving it now)

My first was a 92 s-10 I think it was 2.2 V-6 it was a standard so atleast that made it a little more fun to drive, everybodys first vehicle should be a standard. Second was a 98 ranger 3.0 V-6, biggest peice of crap I have ever owned, it was done at 111000 miles. Third was a 96 grand am 2.4 4 banger, it was okay. Then now my 2004 blazer by a long shot best vehicle I have ever owned. Got it with 12,000 miles on it, now has 99,900 miles and running strong as hell, only after a tune-up thou.
