now the insurance is just paying for the truck he declined the 1st offer
they arent paying for the extras like the stacks visor the wing in the back of the cab

what happens if he removes these things ?

he bought the truck with them on but there considered as extras

Unfortunatly I don't think those add any value to the truck. Same as if you were to sell it to a dealer. You wouldn't get any extra for those things.

You could remove them an sell them. The only way I know about thing you add to your truck/car to be covered. Would be to give the insurance comp. Paper work "receipts" for the add ons. I could be wrong tho.

 

Unless he paid extra for a rider to cover the items, they are not included in the settlement so he should be able to do with them as he chooses.

Unless I'm mistaken, your buddy can remove any part that isn't "necessary for the vehicle to operate" so any extras are his to take. I'd tell him to negotiate a bit with them though. Perhaps if he said "OK, I'll take your offer, but I want all of (X) parts." they'd go for it. Then toss them on fleabay, or use them on another truck if they'll swap over.

There we go then, he's way ahead of the modding game if he can take the parts.

 

i dont know if he can remove the stacks tho eh the only thing i can say if he makes a deal with them
