Talking How Many have C.B's in your Blazers?

I know it isn't "Hi Tech" but I still have my G.E Help! C.B from 1983.

It's been in every car since I got my license in 1986, before that I used it as a base station (That is what I could only afford when I was 16).

I got a Cobra from wal-mart with one of those magnetic antennas. I really never use it unless me and some of my buddies take a 4x4 trail ride or a trip down to the coast... then it gets a workout. Otherwise the air waves are pretty quiet around here except for the truckers out on I-10 and even they don't talk much.

yeah, I remember 26 years ago when the airwaves were LOADED...

The CB was the myspace of the time...

And staying up late to DX....

Or filling out the paperwork for the License, LOL!!!!

Even when I drove through NY State at night it was really quiet ch 19 had 2 people on it...

Well soon my 26 year old CB will be useless, sooner than I think; I think....

Cheapie from walmart also...Like bandido we only use it when we go off roading. But we did whitch out the antenna for a big whip antenna. The magnetic one always got knocked off the truck.

Ive got an old cobra. If i wasnt so lazy I would find a new antenna and mount it to my spare tire rack. One of these days off I will.
