I went through Katrina back in '05, so I feel for all of you affected by Irene. Best of luck in the recovery and hopefully power will be back on shortly.

Hey every 1 Im finnally back after irene the power went out and the telephone also the internet

No major flooding up where i live but in the towns mostly got all our water since were in the mountains .

Hope every 1 was safe

I agree

Up by me no one got hurt and no damage to any of our houses or barns

A few trees fell on my property but were cut down that night to prevent any structure damage

But most towns where i live got damaged with flooding and wind

From what i hear one of our water dams gaveout

We do have fema and the army here helping clean up .

Yeah, it wasn't that it was a particularly strong storm... but it was constant and slow. The constant wind and rain did their damage.

We also didnt have power or phone or net for 3 days

it got to the point that gas stations ran out of fuel also

Yea, hopefully everyone is okay. Up here in Charlotte, it was just a bit cloudy with wind a constant 5 to 10. Actually it felt really good. We got no rain or storms so that's kinda weird.

We got random rain storms up here in W-S. But the winds did feel good.
