i need a good excuse to come in late to work
i just started this job and the owner has been a friend of mine for a while. anyways i have a 930 interview at a good job about 30 minutes away so whats a good excuse to come in at 11-12. i was thinking saying something like i have to pick my mom up from the airport, but im just worried about the 1% chance he will say something like we need you here ill send a friend of mine to get her or something. theres a slim chance i can get this job but i just dont want him thinking im already plotting on getting out of there as i only been there 2 weeks
dont want to do dentist or doctor cause he might see the bill or not see the bill in this case as insurance is through him too.

PASSLOCK, and kindly explain that it went haywire and you were reading on here how to fix it and just disconnected the battery for a bit and there is a good hour for ya....

*Lying is bad, and I would just tell them the truth that you had an interview for a prospective job............ Most of my work has been part time so they dont care if I go apply

Truck won't start, dog got hit by a car (if applicable), children sick (if any), or just the truth. I told my old boss I had an interview and was expecting calls and that I would take it if it came during work hours as long as I wasn't helping somebody. He knew I wasn't kidding, so he didn't care a bit.
