I'm still in the antenna choice phase of my installation, but once I get that figured out I plan on removing the ash tray & ash tray mount from my dash and installing my IC-7000 in that location. That way I can cover all the bands with a single radio.

My dad just gave me his Realistic TRC-479 CB he had in the station wagon when I was a kid. Plan on making a bracket for it tomorrow and painting the case red like my truck lol. Need an antenna and a **** though.. and a mic clip
