Default i've found a new vehicle to comute to work in.

so, i was zipping through traffic early his morning, almost @ work, when i saw something out of the corner of my eye. made me jump on the brakes quick to do a triple look. good thing i checked my rear view first!

this is what i saw in my driver's side, side mirror.................

i would so drive this everyday-if they let me! it would definitely cut down on time spent in gridlock!

not really sure where he was heading, but when i came out from getting my coffee (about 5 or 6 minutes down the road), i saw him sitting in the left turn lane, to head down the West side of Pearson Int Airport.

the guy that was sitting in the upper turent, all he kept doing was looking around the vehicle @ the traffic. not sure if he was just being another set of "eyes" for the driver, or if he was keeping an eye out for trouble.

The looks of awesomeness on the faces of people as it passes by them is what fuels that thing, not oil.

From the looks of it, water crossings would not pose much of a problem!

That thing is sweet! I saw a vid once of one of these plowing through traffic in a really bad area of the far east. I guess it had to keep moving in order to not get taken over.

A really sweet rig tho

I have ridden in an LAV (light armored vehicle) while I was doing my masters work at RIT. They have a problem with the bushings in the planetary gear sets at the wheels and RIT was fitting them with temperature and acoustical monitoring devices to try and detect the failures before they became a true problem.

Ah, Canadian armed forces though. Must be a British, American or Russian hand-me-down.

Still cool though! I've only ever seen them on a trailer rolling through town.

do you seriously think it could be any worse than the 13 to 14mpg my '98 is getting?

like Phil said, the look on peoples faces would be worth it. especially when they decide to cut you off-and then slow down!
