I have no idea about the newer models from 95+ cause they had all the new computer stuff, but I know on the older models a 305 to 350 swap was a breeze

the 305 is a good boat motor but when ever thats mentioned its Bust Out Another Thousand.
thats got a vortec engine in it? my 90 has just your crappy ol tbi 305 in it. its got 180,000 on it and i can tow my s10 with it no problem. dont know if its been rebuilt or anything though

this should be the same way. i have a 1990 c1500 with a 305, i have in my garage a 89 350 tbi its the exact same engine everything is interchangable. so far i have stolen the alternator, some tbi parts and the computer off that 350. all the same. old cars are awesome sometimes

I wouldn't own anything but a 350 in my truck. It's so easy to work on and it has so much power. I kinda want to find a vortec 350 and drop it in there. I wonder if a vortec one will bolt right up to a 700r4 trans? hmm

454 will cost you big time
383 stroker, 454 injectors

can put similar numbers as a 454 with better mpg
