Default Lost license

I guess my Blazer will be parked in the garage for a while. I had an atv accident out on the highway back in May. Here in Indiana it's illegal to have a quad on a public road. Just today got a letter in the mail that I lost it for 180 days. Haven't heard anything about it for 5 months. Then this nightmare of a letter came. Bummer!

One question. What were you thinking of bringing an ATV on to a highway ? Just curious.

In Arizona you can license them & drive them on the streets. They are viewed the same as a car or motorcycle. Must have insurance lights turn signals.

In rual areas its not uncommon to drive them on the street getting from one area to the other. Still illegal but its done none the less. The cops around here turn their head unless you force them (like having an accident). If I get out on the road I pull over giving everything else right a way and don't cut up. 20+ years of riding one on the road and have never wrecked on while on the road, now off road another story......

Few years ago I got a ticket cause a dumb state trooper tried to treat my disk on my tractor as a rear bumper. Her dash cam clearly showed me giving hand signals to stop and turn and she still tried to go around. I got a new disk and her job out of the deal. Idiot sit right in the court room and told the judge she have never heard of hand signals before after they showed the dash cam video.

in maine you can only ride on the road to get to the trail up to i believe 600 ft or on properly marked acess routes between trails. what really bites my *** is that in order to ride my street registered dual-sport bike in certain trails (those managed by dept of conservation) i must ALSO register as an atv...for an additional 40 bucks

We get screwed here. You are required by law to have them insured and registered with license plate but you are still not allowed to drive them on the road. Can you say cash grab?
