Not only can it be used as one, but it's Gorden Ramsey approved lol

seriously though. I've gotten myself out of a few jams with nothing more than one of the folding shovels. I always keep one under the back seat of my blazer

I can imagine a car that has just roofed. A man behind stops, gets the tactical shovel, slowly walks to the wreck. Breaks the driver's window glass with a shovel glass breaker, and reverses the shovel with a serrated edge towards the driver's face. While inserting the shovel into the cabin, takes a look into his frightened eyes and says: "Sir, I am not going to chop off Your head, but use the strap cutter I got here".
IDK what would be more scary. Roofing accident or someone with a serrated edge shovel trying to free me out of the seat belts. Seriously I don't think it's a good idea with the strap cutter location. A shocked person may not necessarily interpret and understand.

Oh, as for the shovel steaks. I just wonder how does it taste, cooked on a painted shovel? As for the shovel, all is clear - it will get unhardened.
