Thats one cool hobby. Now for the QA period.

What x zoom are you looking at that nebula with?
What kinda gear are you using? An at home telescope or like a labratory one? Where are you in the country?
Did you just find these looking into the sky, or do you specifically look for things as per star maps and such?
Suggestion, can you physically look at the moon and take a photo of the flag flying there?

It´s not so easy to say whats the zoom, because it´s calculated by focal distance and diameter of the eyepiece. But I didn´t used an eyepiece, because the camera is direct bolted on the lens tube.

The telesope is a refractor (lens telescope) with 1650mm (65 inches) and anaperture of 110mm (4,3 inches). Its a complete self-built in the 1960s with a new self-built tracking.

I made the pictures at the observatory in my hometown. It´s on a hill in the middle of the town, so, there is much light pollution.

Sometimes I search objects with star maps, but not so often, because the sky is mostly to bright.

By myself, I can´t look to the moon and see the flags. Haha. I think, the only able telescope are at the European Southern Observatory at Paranal in Chile.

You ask because of the moonlanding conspiracy?

I don´t know if its allowed, but here is a link to the website of our observatory:

Thanks. :-)

I think, there was a lunar orbiter, who made some pictures of the landing sites and there were some traces of the lunar rovers and the landing module of the LEM to see.

I think it was lunar reconnaissance orbiter.

Here is a link for a picture: Groansicht

But, I do´t believe in the lunar conspiracy, because the most theses are easy to refute.

Made some pictures of sunspots today.

Never look with bare eyes in the sun. Use a filter or you´re blind.
