Default New Job

Today I started my new job at a local shop. I was skeptical because the last time I was asked to work at a small shop I ended up washing and waxing the bosses truck four times a day. Anyways I was only suppose to work a half a day which turned into a 10 hour day. The boss showed no signs that he was in any way unhappy with the work I turned out so I think all is well. This small shop is a privately owned discount muffler and we do mostly brakes, exhaust, suspension aka dirty work, but it was a fun day, ya the work was messy (speared my hand on a drum brake spring) but it is a much needed job that I highly enjoy.

I hope you like it. I lasted a whole 7 years fixing other peoples headaches and working with the same old grumpy drunks 5 days a week... Never going back. I got my trade and the knowledge, and Ill use it to help my friends fix their stuff and on my own stuff. But I make better money driving, and get to meet many more chicks delivering stuff to customers. The chicks alone sealed the deal, the money is also liked.

In this economy, any job is better than no job.

Glad you found a job you enjoy. I'm hoping to eventually land me a job at a shop next year also after I finish school.
