power windows and locks
im installing used factory power windows and locks on my 2005 blazer I found where the fuses are, but there is no power there, there are fuses in those slots as well, how do I get power, I have'nt started yet and I see the boot that runs the wire harness into the doors so im assuming the wiring is there, im just trying to answer some questions before starting the job
So are you saying there's no power at the fuse in the fuse block? with any vehicle I highly recommend getting a Haynes or chiltens book on it. How are you on chasing wiring diagrams? If not I can pull mine out. And yes that boot protects the wires. Got a volt/ohm meter?
I will double-ditto the comment that the only way to go with what you are trying to do is with a factory service manual. There you will find lots of schematics and pin-outs. You will find yourself flipping back and forth between several. If you can get an electronic copy, then you can print out the pages you need.
