I just got in,Brother drove a hour to get a free couch,Got home and walked in the door,complained about being dizzy then blacked out. Took em to the ER and his blood sugar was at 43. They got it back up but hes not waking up. waiting on cat scan results to come back.

 

thats serious is he a diabetic ?

He's never been diagnosed as a diabetic. This is his 1st episode of something like this. Our parents are at the hospital,im at my parents house with my little brother getting him some food etc.

low blood sugar and blacking out is definitely a serious issue. has he been stressed out lately? Stress can cause those kinds of things to happen. He will be in my prayers I hope hes alright. The Lord will watch over him and take care of him. Let us know how the cat goes.

Got a text,he's awake,cat scans clear,but i dont know if hes coming home tonight. Hes waiting on a urine test etc. So far so good,but they are not sure exactly what caused it,they say it was more then just the blood sugar.

 

that's good maybe dehydration ? or did he eat any thing today ?

 

Well,they are going to test and see if he has been taking loratabs . they said that can cause it to happen. Which i think he has. He has nerve damage in his knee and takes them on occasion when he needs one.

 

ahh ok thank god hes awake tho
