I've had two V1s but sold my last one because of the Spectre III & IV in VA. It can detect the V1 resulting in a ticket. I bought an Escort Redline to replace it. Totally undetectable. Owning one doesn't mean I speed all the time, it's to let me know if Smokey the Bear is there. When it comes to detectors, you get what you pay for. You can also look into laser jammers too.

Mines a Uniden. It has saves me from many tickets over the years I've had it. Luckily around here the COPs leave they're radar on, so you know they are coming for a while. The laser is a gimmick though, if it goes off they just clocked you and it's time to pull over.

Yep! Only if the straightaway is long enough and slightly downhill.

anything is fast enough for a detector, but i need it cause in my line of work you get a call and have to be somewhere in a certain time period and the calls come in maybe 20-30 mins before i have to be on site, so thats the reason why needing one. and im looking for a place so that the detector is capable of doing everything it needs to but also so its hidden
