Default Rally New York Winter

It was alright. I had fun but my back really started to hurt after two hours of standing, that and I broke my stinkin' camera lenses. But I got some good pics, not as much as videos though which I gotta edit yet.

Here's my favs:

Not the best as you can see. My 55mm didn't reach far enough to get the cars close up. I didn't know the spectator area was that far away or I could have brought my 70-300mm.

More photos

if you search youtube and sort by upload date you'll find my video and some others of crashes and stuff

whoa, never would've thought i'd see a ext cab F-250 in a Rally.

so other than your back, and the distance you had to stand away from the action (guess you've never seen any of those European clips, of Rally cars losing it into the crowds in a corner-hey weren't you standing on a corner?), it was a good day?

some great pic's you posted up Craig.

Haha I wished for some excitement like that. There was a snow bank there that, if it didnt stop the cars, would send them rolling

The Ford ext cab F-250 was one of the sweaper cars, theres 4 of them that make sure the track is clear and ready to race trucks like that could flip over easy on the big turns lol
