Does this happen to anyone else. I'm currently unemployed and looking for a job. Well I've sent out probably 10 resumes last week. Got nothing back so moved on. Called a few places and people and bam good chance for a job, the bam...bam bam like 3 calls all wanting interview from resumes I sent out weeks ago. I hate this. Its not a for sure thing that I get anyone of these jobs but what if I get multiple. Then I gotta say "Hey, sorry but I wasted your time and effort. I got another job." and then they are out a person because they picked me and now have to do it all over again. And if I ever want to apply back they will probably have my resume on a board saying "he will just waste your time".
Thats how I feel anyway. I'm not saying I don't want the opportunity to work, but why do they have to call all at once? I'm just venting cuz the jobs I have one the burners are Car up-keep at a car rental place (love cars), A Security Guard (want to be correctional officer), Currently at a Security Job that doesn't have work and hires 10 new staff a month.

thats totally normal, they have to know your looking at more then just them! when that happens you tell them thank you for the time and consideration but that you have decided to go with a company that is more suted to you at this time, bla bla bla, its no big, tell them you would like for them to keep your resume for the future just incase....its totally normal.
I know its normal but I always seem to make the wrong decision. Case in point - At my current job as a casual security guard I was looking for more work. Got an interview and basically had the job. As soon as I got off the phone my current work called and said they had full time work. Mulled it over and thought I'll stay with this company. Had to leave a nice message for the guy at the other company saying basically what you just said and for him to call me back. Never did. My start date for full time was Dec 13th. I haven't started yet and the head honcho wont return any of my 100's of emails, voicemails and/or Messages from other employees. Bad decision, I think so.
Try telling Service Canada that you have a job but still need Employment Insurance. Not fun. Probably gonna get audited this year.

I had that happen to me when I got back here (work.).
I was let go, and couldn't find a single flipping thing for 6 months. I come crawling back to the place that let me go and end up getting my old job back. Not even a week later Home Depot calls me back for an interview. "Sorry, I have to decline."
