Default Rare or Collectible?

Just picked up a 2003 zr2, took it as far as I could in my garage and now it's being serviced properly at the dealer (155,000 service). Was wondering if it's "rare" or "collectible". I'd like to hang on to it a few years and have some fun with it. It's in great shape for a 16 year old car.

Probably only collectible to those on this forum. It might be the last year for them so a bit of a novelty. You might not want to go rock-crawling with it but instead have fun keeping it maintained and using it.

Thanks! I didn't think it was, but it sure is a blast.

Yeah, not really rare. They're cool trucks, for sure, but most people see them as "just another S10"

What are your plans for it?

I would collect them, if I had more space and money. I guess the money would help with the space issue.....so just mainly more money.

Same boat here... I'd have the zr2, mine, and a 3 door side step s10 extreme!

I can tell you this, a stock ZR2 is rarer than one that has been modified from mild to wild. I don't see many of them to begin with in my neck of the woods, even fewer that are stock. Too many Jeeps around here, all of them trying to stand out from the crowd but failing.

If i'm not mistaking , the Jimmy Zr2 would be the rare truck in 04 and 05 , I believe i read they were only sold in Canada for those 2 years, I also read that the ZR2 was only about 10% of the reg Jimmy and Blazer figures...
