91 Cavalier. W/O Cruise. When I use the turn signal, sometimes it works really slow or sometimes not at all. Is this the turn signal lever arm or something else, thanks.

 

well i dont know much about the 91's but it could be, when it doesnt work does the blinker light stay on? if so try to replace the bulb, one website that deals with cavaliers and sunfires will help you

My fiance's VW did the same thing and it was the flasher relay. I'm not familiar with Cavaliers at all but it's something to try.

When was the last time you checked your blinker fluid its probably low

 

mines good for 5 years, but i am missing a muffler belt............

If you click on your signal light, then get on your back on the drivers floor and search for the thing thats clicking above the brake pedal, you will find 2 of them. Try switching them. One is signals, one is 4-ways... If they speed up again, then that flasher is bad.

The flashers are about $7 each, so you may just want to change it out.
