they were calling for 10 to 20 cm (4 to 8 inches) here starting Christmas Eve night. it did start snowing (like crazy), but sometime during the early hours of Christmas Day, it went up to 3* (38*F) and turned to rain. didn't stop raining 'til about 10:30 this mornig. looks like i'm probably gonna need to cut the grass soon, if this keeps up!

During one of my exploring trip, encoutered snow and ice while visiting a ghost town high in the mountains.

here is a day 2 blizzard picture i forgot to put in the day 2 post.



ok here we go. the photos below were today, day 3. They say the snow will be done sometime tomorrow.

I dont know how much there is Ill post up when its all done. The last picture was taken about 15 minutes ago, current conditions.

full resolution of the landscape picture. sorry for the mismatched seam my hands were freezing cold.

Man, I wish it would have stayed cold around here! We've gotten 2.5" of rain in the past 48 hours! That would be 24+" of snow!!

wow that would be nuts, i bet id get stuck.

I * think * we have about 13 or 14 inches right now. But the drifts are crazy deep because of the 40 - 60 mph winds

EDIT: Yep, Its done. Im hearing different things about how much, so Ill stick with my guess of 13- 14. I love my Blazer

you. are. so. lucky!. even with chewed up Blizzak's, i'd still be having fun!

'like Kyle, this is all i've got over the last day & a half..........

Xmas in north texas 09.. for some reason my 4x4 was only working on the right side
so i couldnt get out of the parking lot for a couple days...

sucked

This is all we have right now. Winter is just starting for us tho. Now comes the big snowfall!
