That was a damn shame. Hell if the government would have just had the dealers dismantle the car instead of destroying the engine they would have gotten some of the money back as sales tax for the used parts.

What a dumbass, I'm sure someone would give $4500 for an old beat up (but it isn't beat up) vette

The car had to have a blue book value of less then $4500. It's a shameI know but dealers were not allowed to clunk car worth more then $4500

Someone is always looking for a project corvette, I'd sell for less then $4500 just to see it not get junked
