Stayed up late to watch the weather... Glad I did.
Stayed up late to watch the weather. Heard someone being a jackass revving their vehicle a lot. Looked outside and and a full size mid 90's Z71 was stuck in the yard across the street. Another truck was sitting there, and took off pretty quick, later model Chevy 1500. Called it in, and watched the cops show up and do their thing. Wanted to make sure everyone was alright, and make sure it wasn't a hit and run. Cops called a tow truck. Tow truck is here, and this truck is STUCK! He's yankin' on it with the winch and it seems the front end is completely sunk. The wrecker is being pulled backwards trying to get the truck out.
Dispatcher called me back, and told me it doesn't look to be a hit and run, but they can't locate the other truck as of yet.
I was going to offer to pull them out, but my Blazer would have just sat there like a retard...

Just went and looked where the truck was stuck. They didn't actually get sunk in. They were hung up on a drainage culvert. From the looks of the damage on the concrete, it looks like the cross member was hung up. Hope the towing company didn't destroy anything, with the amount of bouncing they were making the truck do. I would have just sat there spinning tires trying to pull him out with my Blazer.
