Default Sweet custom Scion TC on Craigslist

Well, kinda. I think he's a little off on his numbers. $11,700 to install a body kit? And the proportional valve not working which he says is a $150 fix, if he spent $40,000 in upgrades, don't you think he would be able to fix a $150 part before he sells it? And his gauges not being "completely" hooked up yet? So hook them up before you sell the car. I don't get it, maybe the numbers are right, but that's no car that had $40,000 stuck into it. At least not a car I would have if I had that kind of money to spend on a car.

Not my cup of tea for a TC, but not outrageous either!

Doesn't look like he spend that much money on it but looks nice other than the rims I think they are ugly.

That whole add sounds like a load of S***.
If you are wanting an import, go with a Nissan or Mazda. If you must have Toyota, go with a Supra or Lexus IS series.

I actually like the look of that model of the Scion TC. I don't like their changes for the 2011 model. But, I think that would be a sweet looking car if he just ditched those ugly rims.

I don't mind scions, i just think that instead of getting a riced out fwd you could have a faster rwd for the money. but the ad sounds pretty sketchy.

BTW: if it doesn't have a phone number, it's most likely going to ask you to wire money. Extremely sketchy at best.

Yeah, I will admit RWD is normally faster but I will also admit I think they are pretty sharp looking cars, but then again a lot of show cars aren't about being fast.
I would also admit that the ad sounds sketchy not only what you stated but also because he didn't list much that he did to the car but yet claims he invested over $40,000 in it.
