i see it everyday, ive meantioned before but s10s are usually the most neglected trucks i see. they come into my work needing every moving part in the front end but the owner doesnt want to put any money into and just wants one small part fixed (usually whatever is making noise)

I was lucky, once, too. About 6 years ago, the LBJ on my Tbird was squawking for several hundred miles and I kept saying.. 'gotta fix that'.
So right after I'd driven 55 miles at 70 mph, I pulled into driveway, reversed and cut sharp to fit in the assigned space and my poor bird fell on its nose.
Obviously if I'd happened to hit a big bump of any sort at speed, I'd probably cartwheeled.
As it was.. just an aggro, other than inner fender shield nothing damaged but since then, I warn ANYONE whose joints squeal on turns of what happened to me.

BTW: Lubing only covers up the warning squeal, doesnt mean it wont fail.

Yeah mine don't squeal or anything. They are just worn.

Mine has 1-2 inches of play,Which i actually like. It keeps me from wobbling around on the road etc..Not sure if i wanna fix it to make it tight.
