Hey now my blazer is sitting on 37's and I did just a budget build 383 and it moves decent for a tank. Also did some small power-brake burnouts at a lowe's near my house, I'll return later undercover in my tacoma and snag some pictures and put them up lol.

It might not be super fast but if somebody wants to take the time and money, anything can be fast.. And yes I'll second that. They do a great job offroad, always does better then both my buddy's pickups.

i've had 330lbs on the factory roof racks of my '92 Jimmy, no mods to the rack-and the roof didn't buckle (wouldn't try that on my '98 though).

Thunderbird 6 maybe?

For all those who do not have a clue what I am talking about, you are missing the best ever show from the 60's

that show was awsome (watched the reruns).

(apperantly i was about 4 1/2 to 5 feet off the ground, with stock suspension )

that's 152 MPH folks! i'm not BSing you, that truck was crazy fast!! and it wasn't even a W code engine!!! bone stock, nothing done to it at all-hell i hadn't even punched the cat at that time. although i think it was shortly after that when it did give me an issue with the cat, i probably melted the damn thing! the only thing we could figure why it was so fast was because it was a 5 spd., i have no idea (really miss that truck ).

have a good one everybody.

You gotta be kidding me, my 4.3 was built and was bore'd. It struggled to go past 125. Unless he was going threw a time vortex or hit the after burners i doubt he was doing 152 in a stock jimmy. Also the govener kicks in at around 97-101 mph

BTW 328's aren't fast either :P

I beg to differ about the BMW. Most are restricted to 155MPH but take that off and the 328 will do 165MPH and taking it off is not that hard to do. My friend has a 10 year old 328 that will still do 145MPH and that has 220,000 miles on it and has not had a service for about 70,000 of them. But we get off subject, sorry.
