what governor? what year was your truck?
i don't think i've seen a governor on a 1st gen before.......we dropped a '94 2WD Blazer's (stock) W code and trans in to my brothers '83 xcab Dime, and he got clocked @ 131 in Lexington awhile ago. man was that an expensive night-guess it was a good thing the guy coming towards us had flashed us to slow down! hell i had my '84 (when it was still powered by the 2.8) put the speedo all the way around, and back to 50KPH. ok, it was on a down hill, but it wasn't like it was coming of a mountain or anything (i think the sign says it's a 4 or 5% grade). man, i did alot of crazy (stupid) things when i was younger, good thing i smartened up before i screwed my insurance rating (or did some sreious harm to anyone).
