Elk steak cut into stips, grilled and then smothered in gravy with whole mushrooms served over rice, green beans, pan fried baby red potatos seasoned with Cajun seasonings, french bread baked with butter and garlic and a nice cold glass of milk.

damn it. i <3 elk as it is the best meat ever. EVER...

i had elk tacos this weekend (tiny can of tomato paste mixed with spicey taco mix over 1.5 lb elk burger). brown and serve. Best. Meat. EVER. bar none.

This is why my wife has absolutely no problem with me going hunting. And I agree, best meat EVER. Luckily, my freezer is full at the moment.

I just had some chicken with corn, tomato, and chili peppers on top. I also had some grilled asparagus that was grooving in some olive oil and some kosher salt and lemon juice. Oh so delicious.
