thanks :] i get so many waves when im driving that thing. mainly from guys. they drive by and rev their engines, and i rev mine, and it's insanely loud because there's no muffler at all on the driver's side. i have to coast when i go past the cops haha. right now it's starting to act up though. the engine keeps missing, and it sputters when i accelerate. i wonder if it's something to do with the fuel system? or something as simple as a carburetor adjustment? not sure really. it really likes going 18-20 mph though (i'm guessing, because i have no spedometer or tachometer). i dont have the money to get it fixed by a real mechanic, because i have a $212 tab at the gas station to pay off with my next paycheck lol.

 

Whoa, must drive it around alot! You might want to unhook the secondary linkage on the carb and save yourself some money... Maybe you need to trade to a baby blazer and save that old gem for occasional drives. Or its in dire need of a tuneup? Maybe there is a member in your area that would help you get it going again. We are nice like that. You should go make a post in the section on your vehicle - the K5 area - and people will give you a hand with things to take a look at and and test and such. Its really easy to have a carb dumping way too much fuel and sputtering like that, and really isnt that hard to set if you find someone with the right equipment. There is many things you can check yourself and dont need a mechanic for as long as you have hand tools and like to read the forums. We also dont mind photos of hot women getting dirty on their trucks around here
