The job is fine. It's the $9/hr part that I dislike. "living paycheck to paycheck" is an understatement. Hard to support a family.

Indeed it is! Modding the Blazer has turned into maintenance to keep her running. I get 9.30/hr, but my 30-44 hours of overtime is where this job is okay. If we go back to 40...BLAH! If I get full time there instead of temp pay goes to mid 11s/hr.

I'm a student but I work for my father at his metal fabrication shop.
We do everything from fancy gates and fences to car restoration/customization.
It comes in handy when my blazer needs something.

I'm a retired Toyota Senior Facilities Engineer/ Tooling Engineer/ Tooling Manager/Kaizan Manager. Too much work-not enough money. Thankfully had a rear tire blow out on Atlanta dragstrip at 170+ mph on a Honda VFR1000R causing forced retirement due to injuries. Painful but ended my mid-life crisis...and career. Happy now tinkering on my old Chevies.

Working took up too much of my time, so now I am full time retired. This forum has updated me about some of the new-fangled crap they now put on cars.

x2. Some of that garbage is more harm than good. Chipped keys? That's a decent idea until they make the wrong key completely shut everything down. Just another way to make money...

I have an online store. I haven't updated occupation on my profile yet. I have good merchandise, and it's dirt cheap, but I can't get advertising, so I haven't sold anything at all for months. Months! It sucks.
