A yooper is a northern Michigan resident... Almost Canadians.

Boo Hoo 16" of snow? People here would still drive smartcars in that stuff.

ohsofly to people in MO thats quite abit, you would expect people to still be driving around but not here theres almost no one on the roads and if are there stuck cause there stupid

A yooper is someone from Michigan's Upper peninsula. We call it the U.P., So if you live in the U.P. you're a yooper. The pics are all from Munising, michigan.

Living here in michigan we havent had any huge snow storms in the part of the state that I live.We had semi large snow fall that was about 8-9 inches.It stayed around about 3 weeks then it melted.We had a few other storms that were in 3-6 inch range.All together we have had probaly 2 and half ft.South of me Detroit has had 32 inches this winter.We have alot of rain also.I lived in Missouri for3 years one year in March we had 15 inch snow storm.I was 3 hours from home and took 8 hours to get home.

I know how bad the state needs the moisture rather in comes in the form of snow or rain its good.
