Well everyone, as it seems I am mister I-Cant-decide-nor-make-up-my-mind.

I was browsing the local CL, and found a nice 89 IROC. It was a pretty red, had nice enough paint, rebuilt motor/tranny, and was right around 5k. Well just out of curiosity I email and got a reply. It came up that I had a 98 Blazer, and there was interest in trading.... No, I did not trade off my blazer, but I did think about it (plus he wanted cash because my blazer is "rough" as you all know...)

But I was thinking, what (legit, no lambo/ferrari/monster truck fantasy) would you trade your Blazer for?

I kept this out of the general as it is slightly off topic imo....

I came up with a short list...

1. Towards a down payment for a 2010-2011 Camaro
2. Another Blazer like a ZR2 or a ZR2 S10
3. A second/third gen camaro that ran well enough

But then again, I think that I don't want to trade it as this winter was crappy enough and the 4x4 came in REAL handy

Seeing as you wanted to make yours a trail-truck, I say try to find deal on a Blazer ZR2. But be prepared for the giant Blind spot from the spare tire. I found out about that when I test drove one a few weeks back.
S10 ZR2s seem to be hard too find, or too expensive. Or else I'd have one, lol.

Wait, did you say "pretty 89 IrocZ" at first?

My friends coworker was willing to trade a 85 Z28 Camaro for a small pickup like mine. The Camaro didn't look too bad but it needed a fuel pump and brakes so that told me the Camaro was being neglected and my S10 has lots of new parts. No trade.

The SS454 El Camino... Sure.... But Yea, I did say Pretty IROC, Because as a kid I always wanted a camaro, and in high school, I had cash but was schooled by my mother that I would need money for college, lol, well the 1000 camaro with perfect interior and a tiny bumper dent was off to someone else... (it did need the trans rebuilt but 1k wasn't bad....)

I honestly am swinging my head back and forth... After thinking more, idk if I could trade....

I should get on topic.
I would trade my truck for a used '04 Silverado Z71, a '03 350Z.

I got attached to my Blazer.... but as usual better things roll along, or you roll up to them... hmmm.

What would I trade this truck for? Probably a brand new Sierra w/ the same optioning, same colour and a colourmatchd grille/bumper w/no chrome... Murdered baby.

Maybe after school... But for now I've got the pickup I've always wanted, since I was 12 I've wanted said truck, and driving around in the Blazer BOOM! there she was... all the right goodies. Good things come to those who wait.

And on that note of a redundant rant that went in circles... I'm off to bed, goodnite interwebz (Yes tomorro's Canada Day and I'm not working... but no I'm not drunk )

Perhaps for a really done up Xtreme. However, they aren't practical for me, and if offered a trade I don't think I could pull the trigger. I'm pretty attached to this truck.

It would take something unrealistic like a lambo, or Audi TTRs for me to trade it away.
