More 3D printing around the house.

Bought a new mattress and adjustable frame the other week. The controller for the adjustable frame is wired, and the weight of the wire kept pulling the controller off my night stand, was getting rather annoying. I noticed that there were two little recesses on the side of the controller like it was designed with a clip in mind. Searched and couldn't find a ready made one to purchase. So some measuring, CAD work, and a 2 hour print later, I got my clip

Then decided to do something about the blinds opening rod behind the bed. At night with the fan blowing, it would swing and tap against the wall, drove my wife and I crazy... I just took the rod off for the longest time. Today I finally decided to remedy the problem though, with a simple little clip that holds it up against the wall.

Quick fixes like those are what makes owning a 3d printer so fun! Nice work!

Lock down was terrible for some, but worked out fantastic for me because I had been gathering up interior restoration items for the K5, so when lockdown came, I piled into it and fully restored the whole interior including custom made Blue Highlander seat covers and fully restored Parchment seat belts - both of which cost me a war pension to have redone, but dang what a great result! Been driving the stew out of it since

No lockdown around here. This is hard core Hillbilly country and no one pays much attention.

East TN.

We live so far out in the Boonies that there isnt even banjo music..its just jug and jews harps.

Western Ky not much different. Spending most my time at lake fishing on boat or playing with my radio control airplane again, on floats from lake.

I finally went back to work this week.

But after work today, the wife and I took the ATV's out to check out how much the trail, creek, and pond behind our house has been flooding with the recent rains.

The short answer; a lot lol

Lol yeah I'm not too particularly fond of water crossing, being that this Yamaha is just 2wd and no raised intake. But I had went through it 3 or 4 times already and it goes pretty good, so long that I could keep the rear end down to get some traction. I'm small and light, and the Bruin only being a small 350, it's pretty light, so the rear likes to try and float lol

getting braver with meals cooking. Homemade Poor Man's chicken parm. Frozen Fazoli's pasta sauce from a catering event, leftover spaghetti from last night's dish, chicken breasteses deep-fried in carbquik, in two slices of provolone melted in for good measure.

winner winner chicken dinner... Literally 😋
