My wife and I usually split it up for the meals. If we are grilling I will man the grill (as any man should) and she will make the sides. She is far better about throwing things together to make rubs and marinades than I am so she will usually make those as well during the prep time. Other nights if its something simple in the oven we take turns depending on whos feeling up to it lol!
