Won't be around much
Here is a little update for you all, we are all currently in a rental house until our home is fixed. We are being told to figure 6-9 months out with dealing with insurance, estimates, rebuild and the winter but we are all together. I want to thank you all for the kind thoughts and prayers. I have loaded up some photos to my photobucket for you all to look at. If you do look for the album Tropical Storm Irene. The main saving grace is the storm was a tropical storm when it hit and not a hurricane. My hurricane deductable is $20,750 and my storm deductable is $1000 and that was met taking the tree off the house.

well here is a new update. We have had 2 private appraisals done to my house to see what the repairs are going to cost from the damage caused by Irene. So far 1 is around $207,000 on the structure. This # does not include interior furnishings and the such. lets see what the 2nd one brings.
Update: almost 6 months later and no OFFICIAL word from our insurance company. We did gat a non-binding preliminary # from them last wee and should receive the official one this week some time.
